Massage is a therapy which is perhaps the oldest and most instinctive of the healing arts. It has long been recognised that combined with a healer’s touch, massage will move through and make changes to more than just the body’s physical layers.
Remedial Massage provides a wonderful treatment which holistically treats your whole body by tracing your discomfort back as far as possible to the original source. By using specialised techniques Remedial Massage can heal your symptoms as well as the cause of your dis-ease.
I am an Advanced Massage Therapist and Healer with my forte’ being a deeper relaxation massage which can incorporate energy work and body balancing. The full spectrum of massage can be provided however from a beautiful relaxation massage through to deeper work and treatment of specific injuries – or a combination of any of the above.
The environment I work in is very important to me and the treatment is quite simply - all about you.
After a full consultation to understand where you have come from and what you would like to achieve, each session is tailored specifically to meet your needs. The most important thing to me is the person I am treating and helping them move through whatever they have come to see me for. I have seen such unexpected change arise for my clients on so many levels after just a simple massage…..
If you are carrying something which I feel also requires another treatment modality (Eg: Osteopathy) I will recommend other practitioners to you. Again – the most important thing is your healing.
I have always used top quality and organic essential oils as well as soothing or heating massage balms to further support your treatment – their properties helping to promote and maintain your physical, mental, spiritual and emotional wellbeing. Natural cotton fabrics are used wherever possible, all laundered in Eco solutions.
Also and most importantly in these changing times, clinical hygiene remains paramount.
Sessions are half, three quarters or 1 hour. Relaxation Massage can be an hour and a half.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic Drainage Massage (LDM) is a specific type of massage designed to aid the Lymph system in the elimination of metabolic waste, toxins, and excess fluids from your body.
Unlike blood which is pumped through the body by the heart, the lymph fluid is moved solely through the body by muscle contraction and gravity and can easily become stagnated. So when the flow of lymphatic material slows your vital immune system also weakens.
LDM uses gentle long strokes in the direction of the Lymph Nodes combined with soft pumping movements of some limbs, to help flush this built up waste through. This is a very effective way of detoxing the body, stimulating your body’s vital immune defences and helping fight infection.
Some benefits also include clearing areas of congestion such as puffy ankles, legs and cellulite. LDM also promotes postoperative and scar tissue healing such as torn ligaments and sprains and improves chronic conditions such as arthritis to name but a few.
I have also always used a special blend of 3 powerful and high quality aromatherapy oils, which are designed to stimulate, clear and release any restrictions and limitations.

Aromatherapy Massage
A wonderful full body relaxation massage using a specially prepared blend of high quality and organic Aromatherapy oils.
The properties of these oils help to balance a range of physical, mental and emotional states. Oils specific to your situation are selected following a consultation.
